This is my first attempt to write a digital travel log. It is about 10 days before our departure, the weather is sunny and warm.

Daily, I receive emails about visas, tickets, room and hotel reservations, and information about guides in the land of the steppes.

Tonight Daphne will visit us to talk about her experience in Central Asia. I haven't found time to start packing yet. The days are hectic...
